Fourth of July | Sean of the South

Sean sits behind a moderately out-of-tune grand piano and performs with his band of 16 years, the Boiled Peanuts, then settle in to hear the story of a hometown 4th of July among simple people who eat too much potato salad. Music by the Boiled Peanuts.

THE BOILED PEANUTS

Sean performs with his band of 16 years, the Boiled Peanuts. A trio that plays everything from Southland jazz to antiquated country music, these guys perform with smiles on their faces and tapping feet. The band is as much fun on stage as they are in person—just ask them. Fred Domulot on drums, and Tom Latenzer on upright bass.

I love sunflowers. My mother used to grow them religiously. A lot of memories with this one.
